Well it takes a giant war chest of cash to run. And if you decide not to run that
giant war chest of cash can get you some favors from those that could use it. JMO.

Bad part is it could evoke the whole "We don't need two peopel from Texas running" (Perry and Cruz) as a way to "kick' Cruz out of the running....

Why would it do that? Have you heard the same thing being said about Florida, Bush and Rubio?

I would agree Cruz is much better. Walker is better as well. Probably Jindal but is he even running.

Just think, if people got behind Cruz he might actually win the primaries.

Lots of us are sending cash to the Cruz campaign. That can't hurt.

Bush and rubio are both RINOs and so the talking heads ignore them.

Expect the Talking heads to adopt a “Texas is not big enough for the both of them” because Ted and Rick are both seen as conservative bu the sunday mornign shows talking heads....

Cruz and Perry are my favorites. It is a shame that they are both from Texas. I would love a Cruz/Perry or a Perry/Cruz ticket.

Rick Perry has done nothing about the border for 12 of 14 years of his time as Governor.

Scott Walker gets a pass because he is not well informed on many issues and lives in Wisconsin.

Each year of the 2000’s what has Perry done to secure the border or cut freebies to illegals.

Didn’t he oppose Everify for state employees until recently?

All this job growth would have happened with any generic Republican in charge of Texas. What has he done to make sure these jobs are going to Americans, not illegals and in most cases trying to avoid giving them to foreign nationals.

The 2 losses for Dewhurst from Cruz and Patrick were losses to the Perry agenda.

They are also going after his rainy day fund.

Perry and someone else running are the only ones who served.

It’s not going to make a difference the Texas GOP primary voters rejected Perry’s tuition and crony rainy day fund agenda.

Perry is Bush w/o the brains. Yes, without the brains. Bush was smart enough to get elected. Governor Mumbles never will because he lacks the intellect.

You can shut up now.

I live in Texas. I like Cruz and Perry. Perry couldn’t do anything about the border because that is and should be a Federal issue. Why should my state be left with the spending to control the border when we all know it is a federal issue.
What bothers me is why Perry doesn’t like/back Cruz. That bothers me. I worry that Perry has the Texas machine behind him and therefore denying Cruz backers. It don’t just bother me, it hurts. I think this really has negatives for my candidate Cruz.
I’ll be honest, when oil was $100/barrel a mop head could have been governor and we’d have created all those jobs and propered
