“Bergdahl is the hostage that Amb. Stevens was meant to be.”
That is a great statement you make. It might prove so true.
watch the hearings..even the head of security was perplexed
I believe that you are just wrong. Both Clintons are pretty much straight up crooks and traitors. DeLay, Perry and Walker are all victims of politically motivated legal action initiated by democrat opponents. I am not as familiar with Walker’s case as I am with DeLay and Perry. Those two were both indicted by the extremely liberal Austin DAs who run the state public integrity unit and have the authority to investigate and prosecute any public official in Texas. It took Ronnie Earle going to something like 6 grand juries to finally find one that would indict DeLay. Perry was indicted for vetoing the funding on the public integrity unit because the current Austin DA Rosemary Lehmberg refused to resign after her very public and messy DUI arrest. There is video of it out on the net, she was very drunk and very mean to the officers arresting her. I think Perry did the right thing and I see her indictment of him as pure retaliation. I believe that was also was the case with DeLay. I suspect that Walker’s problems were also politically motivated retaliation and I doubt he did anything wrong.
Has Obie ever gone to the mat for anyone other than himself?
Has he ever shown any compassion for those he has used then thrown away?
Bergdahl has served his purpose and can now be safely disposed of.
I don’t see a pardon in his future.
There’s no upside for Obie.
JMHO
Unless the people in the Obungler administration are incredibly stupid, and I know they are, but I have trouble believing that they did this Bergdahl thing, without having some idea that it might ignite a fire storm. I don't think there ever WAS an upside for Obungler. We will just have to wait and see how it goes.
I think they’re just that arrogant.
It’s not like anyone has called their hand on anything else.
After ambassador Stevens was lost, they needed something quick.
There was our boy Bergie, like low hanging fruit.
I just wonder if Bergies “captors” convinced him he would best serve “the cause” by allowing himself to be traded for the Gitmo Five?
Dollar to a doughnut he’d still be sitting in sharialand without the big trade.
