The reason BSA has always followed corporate America is because the Advisory Council brings the corporate world to the BSA(Hey what’s good for my corporation would be perfect for the BSA, right? What’s wrong with LGBT? It works for my company, right?) No it is wrong! If Baden Powell wanted PC scouts, he would have said so. When the BSA turns to female doctors, that have never been in scouts, there is a problem. And the problem is that they will receive “corporate America” answers to any problems they might face. And the BSA employees have been brainwashed into thinking that corporate America is good for BSA.
The BSA. Over. Not no way. Not no how.
Say fine.
The BSA had an “in” with Government until the Clinton administration. For some reason, the gay activists gained tremendous suction inside of that administration. Things certainly turned around quickly. You know that old saw that rape is never about sex but domination? It seems to me that gay activism is based on a lust for power by the psychologically perverse. Not just homosexuals but all those whose sex drive is misdirected.

They also have a backup program ready to go. They already use it in Switzerland because the Swiss scouts have a co-ed program and the church refuses to participate in it. Hence they have their own program, patches, ranks and everything. The Mormons can go on without the BSA just fine.
The Clinton administration was marked by an invasion of Sexual Revolutionists . This would include people like Bill Clinton. Back in the 18th Century the word “gay” took on the meaning of libertine, and so Bill Clinton is in that sense as “gay” as any lesbian or homosexual. For such a person, a wife is no more than a partner in immorality.
Interesting that in the USA they gave their consent to the National President at the time (a mormon) and consented to the membership policy change.
And now you seem to be praising the mormons for being able to "go on without BSA just fine".
It only serves to reinforce my position that the mormons are not in this for the good of the WHOLE program nationwide...only as it benefits them.
I hope that this time the Mormon church does the right thing and terminates its 100 plus year relationship with scouting. Unfortunately, I expect the proposed policy to allow local organizations to determine their own membership rules will be good enough to keep going a while longer. It is a sad and disappointing time. My Bishop recently asked me to accept a church calling that worked with scouts. I declined it. When he asked for a donation to Friends of Scouting I told him I was no longer a Friend of Scouting.
Once the gays get their way, they will lose interest. In the meantime, the BSA will not exist anymore because of them. Why can’t they just start a gay Boy Scout organization?
Just give up at the prospect of opposition. Yeah, that's what we need "defending" us.
He is an Eagle Scout and was past volunteer president of the National Eagle Scout Association. The comments about the national BSA professionals being in the pocket of corporate interests is spot on. And the corporate executives have been overrun by their LGBT Human Resource Departments.
The video is out there. The attendees at the BSA annual biz meeting in Atlanta gave him a standing ovation. It is a done deal.
Gates successor in MAY 2016 will be the CEO of AT&T, ____ Stephenson. Stephenson has been on the BSA National Executive Committee for several years. He has already made it known he supports membership for open homosexual adult volunteers.
Ironically, the Boy Scouts banned openly gay male Scout leaders but many of the women leaders I met were obvious lesbians. They preferred the more outdoor nature of Scouts/Venture Crew over Girl Scouts which tends to be a beauty pageant sometimes.
We’ve always had gay scout leaders (obviously) so the two-deep leadership was put into place.

Creating a homo-scouts wouldn’t suffice. They must force themselves upon the rest of us come hell or high water. You had better agree or you’re an intolerant bigot. (As they show themselves ot be intolerant bigots.)
I fear people will never wake up. Adult gays rule. Adult libertarians rule. Adult women baby killers rule. Children are meaningless and ignored.
