I’ve always thought America should have its own foreign legion.
I wish them luck, success and safety.
There’s probably some law against it, but I’ve often thought a mercenary force, from the get-go, well funded and supplied would have been able to tackle these savages. Perhaps it is too late.
God Speed and God Bless these warriors.
Going *public* like they did sacrifices the element of surprise. I wish they didn’t feel the need to do that. Just go and do it....come back and tell us how it went.
we need to really pray for this world folks...
God Bless them, but I was kind of hoping they’d head for the White House.
You’re correct, unless this group is smarter than I give them credit for. Maybe they want to advertise their plan, and give lots of detail, detail that is purposeful misinformation. Maybe they have an ambush strategy in mind, trapping and attacking the enemy from a very unexpected direction.
The real enemy.
Vet/Retiree ping.
May God help them destroy our foreign enemies. Guess it’s up to those here to handle the domestic problems.
Too bad we have a greedy, self-serving coward in our white house.
when we did away with the draft..we created our own mercenary force.....mostly republicans
Or an enemy islamist for whom everything is proceeding to plan.
Probably a calculated risk. A big part of the problem with ISIS is how so many people go wobbly over fear of publically opposing them. These guys are advertising because ISIS is advertising. They're challenging them toe to roe, mano a mano, in their face. This is necessary because two dozen guys is only the beginning. I believe they intend to start a movement. It will take a movement to make a difference. And to jump-start a serious movement, you have to go public. Look for Obama to try and publically squelch the group. If they play their cards right, that's when the movement will really start to take off. Just my two cents.
Peace,
SR
They need resources.
Going public might get them the weapons, etc., that they will need.
Do they have a Kickstarter campaign?
I agree 100%. There is absolutely no advantage to making something like this public beforehand - none. In fact, as you point out, it takes away the element of surprise. And it gives Valerie a heads up to throw a wrench in the works before they even get moving.
Still, I wish them total success and Godspeed.
