Monday was the day the Texas Legislature was going to take up open carry. As I remember the first Waco, Congress was just getting ready to starting hearing on ATF funding when that massive raid and gunfight went down.
Sigh. If the cops just decided to take these guys down, there will be retribution. These are not good people. They are also well armed and organized.
What a mess.
That will show them that Gang Activity in not welcome in Texas.

Well, it appears that my initial suspicions (based upon the large number of dead and wounded) that this was a “spray and pray” operation carried out by trigger-happy, steroid pumped cops who were apparently frightened by nail clippers, wallet “chains”, a single padlock, pocket knives and possibly some “firearms” which may or may not have been ever unholstered.
I hope the poorly served citizens of Waco and environs have some deep pockets because I suspect that this is not going to end well for the city (financially) and the trigger-happy cops (both financial and career wise).
All this smell fishy.
Looks like this restaurant had previous Bike Nights with no problem.

When I first heard the news they said the Brawl began in the Men’s restroom and then spread to the outside. If there was a hugh brawl I am surprised to see many motorcycles still standing upright.
I just find it odd that the cops were coincidentally in the neighborhood all swatted up when the “brawl” began.
What are the chances that this situation was part of a Jade Helm exercise, except this time with casualties?

This smells worse all the time. I support law enforcement, but am sceptical about Rogue DAs and POLs.

If this pans out to be a case of police ambush it is reasonable to expect payback of the same kind by the hardcore outlaw bikers.
