Baltimore Police Union: we've never seen such a rush to charge officers. Union says the charges will make it harder for other officers— Will Carr (@WillCarrFNC) May 1, 2015
“How many liberals collect disability for mental health issues?”
I had one at work explain how to get the ‘crazy letter’ to qualify for $650 a month from Social security.
How many of these charges were dropped? How many was he convicted of? How much time did he serve?
Anyone can be charged with anything at any time. That list, without details, is meaningless.
I remember when cops didn’t murder people.
I remember when cops didn’t shoot dogs, either.
We need to get rid of bad cops. How can anyone argue against that?
And we need to get rid of repeat offenders who are continually being given breaks by the DA's and the courts.
I have seen many of your posts today and have concluded that you are a loon. So, I’ll be trying to ignore your moronic rubbish.
And we need to get rid of repeat offenders who are continually being given breaks by the DA's and the courts.
There may be no virtuous side to take here, other than to hope for justice on either or maybe both sides.
If any of those cops purposefully didn't use the seat belts and took the alleged circuitous route, tuning Gray up with a rough ride, slinging his body with ankles and wrists bound, into the walls, that is a criminal act, regardless of the length of Grays rap sheet.
At the same time, violence and burning down the town is criminal and is not what drew attention to the cops behavior. The autopsy did.
The republic left to us by the founders is wholly unsuitable for an amoral society. There is no political solution for that.
.
Because I worked in Corrections, I'm one of the first people to try to see the cops' side of things. I know what it's like to have to deal with scumbags. I'm assuming that there are specific guidelines mandated by the Baltimore PD for transporting prisoners, and if the officer(s) didn't follow them, they put themselves in the position for something to go wrong...and it did. All it takes is one time.
We can’t boil it down to a dry “following procedures” when the gross result was obvious.
Unfortunately they are protected by law and cannot be murdered any more.
