Are you also arguing that Rand Paul is pro-life?
Dang it, I thought they were mine, all mine (muahahahaha).
To answer your question: Both, but 139 is the one.
I used to use this idea before your cartoon:
*Banging head on monitor*
How is that a proper response to post 157?
To: xzins
Those are your own quotes stating that you do not see Rand Paul as pro-choice.
Isnt that defending Rand Paul?
To quote you: Some have already concluded that means he is pro-choice. You are one of them. Marlowe is one of them.
Im still open on trying to figure out what he meant BECAUSE he is an MD.

Your defending Paul goes back a long way.

And I believe that Paul should be allowed to explain himself about these statements. However, to the extent that he’s isolationist, he’s not the right choice for this nation. To the extent he’s in favor of a totally open drug culture, then he’s not right for this nation. To any extent that he’s open to homosexual marriage, he’s not the right choice for this nation. (And I really don’t know his position on that issue; I just know a lot of libertarians think that morality is not an issue. I disagree.)
So, Cruz remains my favorite.
NO argument.
Rand Paul is pro-life.
I posted that transcript in post 78.
Ted Cruz is my favorite, but I’m open to Scott Walker and perhaps even to John Kasich and Marco Rubio, and lastly Rand Paul, if he’s the nominee.
I’ve ruled out Jeb, Santorum and Huckabee, and maybe some others whose names have not come to mind.
Bobby Jindal would be all right, also.
:)
Even Rand Paul only describes himself as “”In general, I am pro-life”” he keeps speaking as pro-choice on abortion, such as in post 78, talking about 1000s of exceptions.
Does this sound like a pro-lifer?
The thing is about abortionand about a lot of thingsis that I think people get tied up in all these details of, sort of, youre this or this or that, or youre hard and fast (on) one thing or the other, Paul told Elliott. Ive supported both bills with and without (exceptions), you know. In general, I am pro-life.
How about RUDE media interviewers?
So what?
Are you 100% pro-life, with no exceptions?
Kasich is my governor and a real oddball, but great at balancing budgets.
Yeah...LOL. He was the best with budgets when he was in Congress, too.
I’m not happy with some of his other positions, but I’ve always personally liked him.
He spoke to our group during the recent campaign, and he has a real heart for the failing and downtrodden in life. He wants to help them in any way he can, but only with less spending and balanced budgets. If you only heard the first part of his speech you’d think he was a nut. If you heard the second part, you’d think him a miser. He’s a real contradiction, with an engaging, friendly presentation.
Of course, and the GOP has been as well, no exceptions except to save the mother’s life.
Rand Paul seems to have all kinds of ways of being pro-choice, as he keeps shrinking more and more his pro life portions and expanding his acceptance of early term abortion.
To get elected in 2010 he was pure pro-life, and since then he seems to be moving to the first libertarian position on abortion, before RoevWade.
LOL. I got the same reaction and mixed message the last time I saw him interiewed on Fox News. He was all over the place, but smiling and friendly. Unbelievably, by the end, he had started to make some sense to me! ROTFL.
With modern medicine, those are far and few between.
I am a practicing Roman Catholic and I believe life begins at conception, but were one of my teenage granddaughters stranger raped, I would insist on the "morning after" pill, so you see, I am not 100% pro-life.
You also know that Rand Paul isn't pro-life either, and judging by what he says in interviews, his list of reasons acceptable for abortion goes well beyond rape and incest.
The way he is I don’t think he has a prayer of being a nominee for president or even a selectee for VP. He’s cerebral, big-hearted and sometimes indecipherable. I have no idea how he won so big in Ohio. His whole campaign was him on TV saying nice things about everybody he knows including his opponent, his dog, the trees in the state forests.....(I’m sort of kidding, but you get the point.)

FYI. I don't know anything like that!
I think Rand Paul is pro-life, just like I stated above.
Have a nice evening babbling to yourself.
