Michael J. Fox had a lot to do with the collapse of Talent campaign. He tossed in the towel far to soon IMO.

Ma got elected, and gets re-elected, not on her own merits, but on Republican frailties.

I’m wondering if he has ever worked for a successful candidate. Working for Mitt is not a huge plus.

I’m rooting for both Cruz and Walker too.

Talent was foreign policy advisor on both of Romney’s presidential bids.

What’s that saying? Birds of a feather or something? :-)

I’ll agree with the last point.
Claire spent more money boosting her weakest opponent than she did on her own campaign.

Guess we agree to disagree Eric. Map on Wiki shows all red for SW Missouri for 2006 Senatorial election. Democrat strength in Missouri continues to be in KC/StL. Of course, that is where the votes are. Of rural folks is jest outnumbered. LOL!

Apologies if I offended.

The “Evangelicals stayed home” story associated with Jim Talent’s loss has been repeatedly promogated by a local political science professor on local radio. He is on KRMS every week.

I thought his evaluation of the vote, or lack of it, in SW Missouri was accurate.

I seek only the true story of how Jim Talent lost, and was pointed in the direction of evangelicals pulling away based on Talent’s support for stem cell research.

The 2006 Senate race with the proper colors (Blue=Republican; Red=Communist/Dem).
