I think it was Linda Tripp who told Monica to keep the blue dress. That may have prevented Monica from being another "Arkancide" victim.

Monica's worst mistake was not her affair with Clinton but her abortion about the same time (the father of the baby was another boyfriend, not Clinton). She would be the mother of a college-age son or daughter at this point...but killing the baby was more convenient.
