Actually many black communities fight efforts to "gentrify" their neighborhoods with upscale outlets like Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Chipotle and even Starbucks.

Seems all they want is pawn shops, fried chicken, check-cashing and payday loan joints. All closed up at night with iron gates.
