"I dont see these progressive magazines mocking the faith of Democrat politicians and candidates, including Obama or Democrat voters for that matter."
The reason is simple, i.e., they know that liberal politicians who ostensibly are members of traditional churches (such as Biden being a Roman Catholic) don't agree with the teachings of those churches, so they are exempt from scrutiny.
And they are very rarely put under pressure to publicly affirm or disavow any of the teachings of their church, e.g., "Senator Biden, do you believe in the Devil? Do you believe in exorcism? Do you believe that birth control is wrong? No? Then why are you a Catholic?"
Libs almost NEVER undergo that kind of grilling.

The point is that politicians like Biden are never grilled to affirm or deny their adherence to doctrines held by their ostensible churches. They are never forced to squirm, as conservatives are forced to do. See my previous post.

Walker should wear the scorn of the collectivists as a badge of honor. Let them worship Lord Hussein and his minions.

"Why would they care about Bidens religious faith?"
You miss the point. They do not grill Biden about his faith, or force him to affirm or deny aspects of the faith that he proclaims, aspects which might be embarrassing or offensive to liberals. They do not put him on the spot.
You and I might think Biden is a phony, but the point is that the press never shows him to be a phony, or requires to express agreement or disagreement with the faith he proclaims.
