You right wing nuts surely need to get a collective grip and gain some perspective on all this ... our nitwork news reader didnt kill anyone ... he just told a chopper whopper that made him seem more heroic than he actually was ... it was untrue, and wrong of him to do it ... but why should it be terminally so?

“why should it be terminally so”
Because a bunch of little guys (we viewers) eventually decide to go somewhere else for the news.

When you’ve got Piers Morgan and Joe Scarborough as your sole supporters, you better resign now.

Once you open the silk purse and find it’s a pig’s ear, it will never be a silk purse again. Like Dan Rather, Mr Williams is toast.

The Washington elite are all saying: “Well, all he did was lie. We all do that. If the American people start holding us all accountable for our lies, we are done in this town and we can’t let that happen.” Lying has proven to be very good for the Washington elite, it’s how you get to be President these days.

It's so simple.
If the truth means little to a person, then that human has no business being in the news business. (I think I hear laughter)

One of his ‘friends’ calling for mercy is Morning Joe:
A misstatement or an exaggeration about a helicopter is far less damning to the future of this country than the reams of misinformation that were reported leading up to the Iraq War...when a lot of reporters should have asked a lot tougher questions.
Here comes the narrative.

I'm not that broad-minded where facts are concerned.
NO
I LIKE the truth ... and when it's inconvenient, disturbing and clashes with my basic, hard-found, tried-and-true mental furniture... I'm even LESS broad-minded.
I'm just funny like that.
It’ keeps things organized in my head and so, organized in MY LIFE.
No thanks, Brian. Take your sloppy talk and your sloppy thinking and go work in a jellybean factory or anywhere else where facts are incidental.
