The top Luftwaffe ace in the Spanish Civil War had 15 kills. He fought the Brits shot down 53. Went to the Eastern front for Barbarossa got another 32. Got pulled from combat.

Other “trivia” - also check the “tag” for airport in Worcester, MA (on top of a hill but seldom used) - also formerly an “Orchard Field.”
