eesh! I guess he should’ve read the “fine print” in his Volt manual under the “onboard camera” topic...if the manual even has fine print disclosures (warnings?). I suppose this serves as a heads-up to anyone purchasing a vehicle to go online and research not just the manuals but the tech manuals on it to see if there’s an onboard camera and if there’s a way to disable it.

we must now look for little microphone icons to check whether we're being listened toIf they can listen to our private conversations, they can manipulate a silly little icon.

why does the TV need to have voice command and camera sensor hooked into the internet? Does that not indicate a weak processor power?

I didn’t mean a flashlight app. A smartphone is an active listening device. I meant good old tube, batteries, and a bulb. Some of the newer regulated LED lights have circuitry in them. Probably wouldn’t have a confidential conversation around one of them either.
