I was logging in late and checked the thread first, so I got excited to hear Mark! Then I log in and it is commercial.....now it is back with Rush!
I think that is the first time that I was dissappointed to hear Rush on his own show!

LOLzzz...
Have seen his photo (and on the telly as he would say! MANY times). I just had to kid thst Rush said/thinks/implies that Mark “has a face for radio.”
The Limbaugh staff needs to have a remote DittoCAm for the NORTHERN EIB studios when the “Undocumented One” guest hosts. Female subscription would skyrocket.

SORRY for confusion...Rush openner saying that the DittoCam was INFACT operational and they they turn it off (when there is a guest host) because “ALL the guest hosts have faces for radio.” Hmmmmmmph!
Maybe ALL the “other” Marks but NOT Mr. Steyn :)

I had developed what a former pastor called the cul-de-sac look. At that point the best option was to just take all the rest off. Have been meeting my barber every morning now for the last 8 or 9 years.

My daughter and SIL gave me an elementary school book from the 30’s. It is titled, “American Government” so I am assuming that it was for a civics class.
It teaches hard core progressivism, but is at least honest about it. One discussion about “taxes” points out that, “the art of taxation is to get the most feathers from the most ducks with the least squawks.” It also points out that “hidden taxes are the best, because although you may tax businesses and then the businesses put it in the price, that the normal person will not see it and will not know that they are being taxed.”
Then it talks about how good the government can look by taking $1 in tax from a million poeple, who won’t notice so no one cares, but then give that $1 million dollars to one person and they notice greatly and are very appreciative....
Naturally it endorses all of these policies, but it does include some honesty regarding their intentions...
OK, gotta run to a meeting.
