I'm pretty busy trying to juggle multiple projects. I'm also trying to simplify things. Hope all is well with you.
Thinking more about the movie, I would say that although the war scenes were intense, the violence was not gratuitous. Unlike action thrillers which have all sorts of gratuitous violence, this movie was not over the top in that sort of way. I think Eastwood did a good job of showing that war is hell. (N.B. I say that without ever having been in a war.)
