I have no idea to tell the truth
oops. My HTML fingers are retarded today.
Will never shop in Dallas because of this. Businesses should just leave the fascist ghettos. I reuse the plastic bags for trash. They are essential.
To these crusaders, no cost is to great, especially if it is to be borne by another.
People from Texas are always crowing about how conservative their state is but recent articles about their rapidly growing nanny state seem to indicate that they are rapidly becoming more like San Francisco and Boston.
That’s a great idea. I’ll try it when the law goes into effect here. Thanks!!
I have been saving every bag that comes into the house. When those run out if I have to I’ll buy them from somewhere else. The grocery store and/or state will never get one dime out of me for bags.
Not just any bag. The bag must meet certain specifications and contain required printing. Not many companies are going to be able to meet the procurement requirements - so you are probably right. Follow the money and see if any of it leads back to a certain councilman.
Oh my goodness. Isn’t that terrible ? Sorry to hear about your experience, but thanks for your reply !
Macy’s at Willow Bend sure is observing the bag ordinance - so, instead of giving my wife her recent purchase in a plastic bag, she got it in a huge plastic garment-bag-type cover, on a hanger! Easily 5 times as much plastic used!
