I think the investigator is referring to past crashes he's investigated since I don't think that they have even got the voice recorder to the point where they can review it yet.

But regardless, if in past investigations he hears those words over and over at the end of the tape then wouldn't that highlight a big difference between Muslim and non-Muslim pilots? It seems like the Muslim pilots he's investigated have given up well before the crash and have accepted their fate. They don't seem to go down fighting to the end, trying to prevent the crash. They appear to have accepted it as inevitable and given up.
