I also posted this to the Political Humor section because it'd be so funny if it wasn't so serious. Romney thinking he has a chance at the nomination is laughable enough. But Romney tackling poverty is like Marie Antoinette tackling hunger. No matter how sincere he may be it's going to come across as patronizing and phony.

He may be selling, but we aren’t buying. There is no requirement that the candidate must have millions of dollars and lots of multi-millionaire cronies bankrolling him
.hoping to cash in if he’s elected, of course. That should be viewed as a liability, not an asset, after seeing how poisonous this is to good government.

If he got elected, he might very well make Obamacare even worse, we need a repeal.

Shortly after Election Day in 2012, a Mitt Romney supporter moaned to POLITICO about the failed GOP nominees performance: We had no message, and we gave it to the worst communicator in the world. Two years later, Romney is mulling over another campaign for the White House, and this time, he says, things will be different.

Romney’s 2012 message can be broken down into two parts:
1 - I am not Obama
2 - I look a lot like a President should look

The selling of Mitt 3.0The title says it all. First, you have to "sell" Mitt because he is not an authentic conservative (severe or not). And secondly, "3.0". It is laughable how Mitt must "REFRAME" himself in EVERY SINGLE ELECTION in order to appeal. He is on version 30.0, not 3.0.
Mitty, do us all a favor and shut it down!

Romney has more money than Davey Crockett, a wife with a terminal disease, and a scad of grandchildren.
Hint: Hey Mitt, retire and the enjoy life from here on out.

Actually, I think hes up to revision 350.15.0.1.13Yep. I greatly underestimated it in post #10.
To: Servant of the Cross
Maybe even higher considering.
What revision number are the Nvidia drivers up to now?
We’ll go with that.

Nixon ran for a 3rd time after swearing he was done after losing to JFK. Then came LBJ and the tumultuous times of Vietnam and the Great Society with all it’s riots and bombings.
IMHO saying Romney can’t win is whistling past the graveyard. He can most certainly win and he has the bragging rights of being able to say “I told you so” in 2012.
Will he win though, I don’t know. If the GOPe keeps trying to bulldoze and run roughshod over the conservative end of the party they just might split off and run a 3rd party spoiler. (somebody please tell me what that means .. I know it’s another name for Rino but seem to have missed the memo on GOPe)

The major problem is that he was supposed to be the placeholder for the Bush Dynasty. They won't like it if he doesn't step aside.

Romney might think he gets to just waltz in at the point he left in his last go-around, but he has a little obstacle to climb over first.
Mitt is going to get HAMMERED in the primaries!!
That should be a wake-up call, if ever there was one.
