Those are for ideal conditions(55mph, 75 degrees, no wind). The question is how much of a mileage hit do you take when driving conditions become more extreme on a road trip. When you see one of these high priced EV's limping along on rural interstates at 55, they are either trying to get to the next charging station or make it home without having to stop at one.
The Tesla supercharging stations are a full charge in an hour. I think they claim a 50% charge in 20 minutes or so. People that have EV's also have the option of going to camp grounds, some hotels, and restaurants. But then your looking at several hours or so depending on the type of electrical service they have.
