As long as there has been people there have been “priests” who claim to have special knowledge of the “gods” and of the “heavens”. Invariably they would tell the population that they have “angered the gods” and if certain sacrifices or offerings are not given to the gods (via the priests) then terrible calamity is sure to follow and civilization might disappear. But of course, the priests with their special knowledge had the power to change this feared outcome and to get the gods to once again bless the society and its people.

Therefore - it’s a very old game and people obviously keep falling for it.

Of course, global warming is a hoax. Any scam where the perpetrators have to continually change the name of the scam every few years to stay one step ahead of the population's awareness of their deceit and dishonesty (translation: the numbers don't add up), is definitely a hoax. I no longer want to hear the climate change kooks versus the deniers arguments. It is not worthy of my time. And according to the polls over the last few years or so, climate change doesn't even make it into the top 20 issues that the voters want their government to deal with.

It has nothing to do with the climate, the weather, the environment or saving the planet from ourselves. The issue with climate change is that it is a ruse. A scheme. A ploy. A misleading tactic to cover for the fact that it is about the socialist revolution. The con artists behind this movement are attempting to get rid of capitalism and replace it with socialism as the economic system for the US and the world. And, of course, they have picked the system that has never worked in any country in the history of the world, ever. Total failure every time it has ever been tried. So, ignore the climate change whackos and fight those commie bastards who want to pick your wallet clean and put your wealth into theirs.

Doubt me? Then ask yourself this. If tomorrow it was determined that we were entering a new ice age... would they be then be advocating that we all start driving large SUV and that we start building tons of coal fired power plants in an effort to stop the impending ice age?

In 2007 in Northern Canada a melting glacier revealed ancient tree stumps over 6000 years old but AlGore would have you believe that the earth is in an unprecedented warming period.

Al has never explained how Trees took root and grew under a glacier.

The Earth has been getting warmer or colder for 4 billion years. The only constant in Earths environment is change. It will continue to change till it’s consumed by the Sun.

Man has been on earth .00075% of Earth’s age or 300,000 years.
The Earth changed many times before man and will continue to change after man is long gone.

The universe is dynamic. Suns supernova, galaxies collide, planets are formed and lost in black holes daily.

Man is merely a brief observer, not the cause.

Such records of cold winters during the Little Ice Age were not limited to either side of the Atlantic. The Spanish diaries of the exploration of California in 1769-70 also record 2-1/2 feet of snow at 800’ elevation near Paso Robles and hills white with snow around San Diego in April. These are Pacific Mediterranean climate zones not subject to Atlantean conditions, thus demonstrating that the cold temperatures were at least hemispheric, if not global.

Totally agree...most parts of the temperate world would greatly enjoy 2 or 3 more degrees. Fewer deaths from cold, improved and more abundant food crops, more days at the pool, fewer nights shivering. What’s not to like?

Lost in the global warming theory is the fact scientists know very little about water temperatures in the oceans and their effects on our climate. Oceans cover 70% of the earth and are largely ignored in the climate models. You can’t ignore 70% of the earth when you study “global” warming.

And another inconvenient truth: CO2 seems to come from a lot of natural sources. The early returns from NASA's CO2-detecting satellite show some CO2 concentrations being formed in ocean areas which map to tectonic activity.

You are right, the difference now is only that it is couched in terms of “science” rather than the gods. Amazingly those who scorn the idea of god or gods are the first to fall for the same old scam when it is presented as science, then as they dance to the tune played by the “scientists”, who are often no more worthy of the name than Al Gore is, they praise their own brilliance while laughing scornfully at anyone who still believes in a god or gods.

I find it astounding how many people take seriously the idea that the average temperature over the entire Earth for a twelve month period can be measured to an accuracy of 1/100th of a degree or less and consider such belief to be proof of their own brilliance. I don’t believe there is any way to measure the temperature inside a single house that accurately.

The term Hoax carries with it some slightly innocent connotations. The Climate Scam/Fraud is in no way an innocent game or trick for fun and laughs.

It’s an enormous unprsedented conspiracy to get socialist politicians elected and defraud the masses of their earned wealth.

Extrodanary claims require extrodanary evidence.

The evidence for any kind of human caused/controllable climate catastrophhy is unconvincing let alone extraordinary.

Just unscrupulous frauds selling doom to the ignorannt de-educated masses who are buying it at face value without even a second thought, since it was on TV.
