It’s time to abolish the CIA

I read through the propagandistic beginning paragraphs and into the historical blunders, but as I got to the more modern period (WMD, CIA torture report), I began to wonder why the Times printed this article, especially when Mr. Fein seems to take for granted the "truth" of the biased CIA torture report.

I like the Washington Times but every so often, they come out with “shocker” editorials. I will see how people comment on it but it seems awfully silly and dumb to me.

That said, yes, I’m sure the CIA has acted out-of-line a few times but Communism did have to be contained.

Fein has written many articles like this. I’ve yet to read one where I agreed with his premise. If Fein believes roughing up a few terrorists constitutes torture, he’s a fool and a tool.

Dept. of Education
Dept. of Homeland Security
The TSA perverts (replace them with sniffer dogs)

After that, we’ll have a more streamlined government.

My problem with the CIA over the years is that it frequently leans too far left. Lots of Ivy Leaguers.

But we can’t afford to abolish our intelligence agency. Fix and improve it, maybe, but that’s not possible as long as the current politicians are in power.

The Washington Times needs to be abolished for even suggesting such a thing. Is our nation to be blind in a world filled with predators? I don't think so.
