For Ted Cruz to get through Princeton and Harvard and remain a man of principle means that he probably irritated his professors and other students who have no principles.
He asked questions that they were not willing to answer. He showed them how inadequate their own moral reserves were.
Naturally, they are going to resent him.
Someone should find the people he did spend most of his time with, sitting around discussing really important topics.
That is where the true story will be.

And yet nobody seems to remember Barack Obama.

Probably a lot of the people trashing Ted Cruz had been destroyed by him in debates.

IOW, there was a good chance he was lying, eh?All liberals lie. So the answer is most certainly YES.

Perhaps his higher marks and more thorough knowledge were interpreted by his leftist colleagues at Harvard as “arrogance.”
