And when the President vetoes it, they will say, “well, we tried.”

John “We Tried and Will Win Next Time” Boehner.

When they COULD have genuinely done something to stop it, they didn’t. They happily supported and funded Obama’s amnesty.

Now, they will come back and put on a fake/phony “show” that will amount to nothing, to try to demonstrate to their GOP voters that they are against it. They must have the same contemptuous mindset as Gruber, thinking we’ll fall for all this.

Its not just the leadership unfortunately. The rot in the party is pervasive and cannot be remediated IMO.

The power of Congress is the power of the purse. Having funded Obama, they have empowered Obama.

Yup, we’re done. Let Lizzie Warren and the radical left of the Democrat Party take control. The Chamber of Commerce can come groveling and begging our forgiveness afterwards.

The Republican voter base will lap it up, as they always do.

They just gave Obama $1 billion to care for his illegal children in the CRomnibus. Yeah, I believe them. (sarc)

Why don’t they simply do a CR to carry us to the new Congress?

Why do they want the budget done thru September 2015 for crying out loud? That’s over a third of this Congress’ time. Use our time wisely -

They’ll say that Homeland Sec is only going to be funded until Feb. Why not everything?

We need to get back to 12 budget bills. None of this omnicrap.

The leadership has stabbed us in the back once again and there isn’t anything we can do about it.

I called McConnell’s office yesterday and told them to remove my name from their lists as I have left the republican party and become an Independent. Their response: “Whatever”.

Giving away money to be spent on things we shouldn’t be doing - how do “make up” for that?

“We simply need the presidency to be able to pass our agenda”.

“It’s simply not the right time to take on this issue.”

“This gets the issue off the table”.

Oh yeah, there is no "funding fix for Amnesty."

That was because, "the bill wouldn't have passed with that Amendment attached," whined Boehner and other traitor GOP members!

Now to state, so close after the election last month (November), to demand these traitors be gone, seems lots of work for us, but the majority of those traitor GOP members, were just reelected to office!!!!

This is a sellout to the Open Borders supporters (U.S. Chambers of Commerce, the WSJ Editors, Soros, et al) done to the American Taxpayers.

They just voted to give away the country to Obama and those who hate America!

Smoke and mirrors. Republicans already sold out Americans by funding Obama amnesty and Obamacare.

No mention in the artcle of all the amnesty implementation funding in the DOJ and HHS budgets. Boehner has no plans to touch that apparently. Why would that be?

The GOP always has an EXCUSE not to do something. There is always a crisis that demands they cave. Always. If they won’t defund ObamaCare and Amnesty now they never will.

I am done with the GOP. Every single last one of them.

Amen.

No more. Did it for McCain in 2008 (really voting for Palin), and forced myself to vote for Romney in 2012. Never again. The gop needs to be destroyed, it is no home for Conservatives, not that it ever really was. Reagan was an aberration that the forces against him then, have vowed to never allow again.

They are on their own now.

What a crock. They’ll never do this, it is just more empty promises. Just like they promised to fight Obamacare and then did nothing but empty gestures.
