Is Mrs. Maher still on the innermenet ?

Thought she faded away to being a Faux news intern or somethin’.

Wasn’t she working as an intern for “Senator” Al von Frankensteen ?

“Fake but accurate. It does not matter if the story is true. Article after article is now about rape. It is simply a device to get the subject on the front page. Period. The next step will be pushing new laws, rules, etc. based on a lie.”

And the whole issue of what constitutes “fair and equitable” law enforcement is an analog. It’s like “we don’t really have a case by case description of “excessive force,” but somehow we are expected to “know it when we see it.” The matter, like rape is “issue driven” by each “side,” and the truth gets thrown under the bus. Seems as though we have devolved into everything being “political.”

Meanwhile the suspension of fraternities at the University of Virginia remains in effect. The female president of the school remains committed to reforming the fraternity system. Never let a real or fake crisis go to waste.

I had my right arm sawed off by an attacker several years ago...

Love it.

This is the type of hyperbole that the Left regularly uses and their followers accept as fact.

WE need MORE in the media skilled at this...

Who bought and read “Fifty Shades of Grey”—women or men?

While there are a number of women-only universities, male-only universities are extremely scarce. Elite universities went coed in previous generations, and almost all the rest followed suit. Maybe it is time to create numerous male-only educational institutions at all academic levels. To help the men focus on learning, let us prohibit women from all parts of campus in any capacity.

We don't need man hating University presidents, faculty, campus cops, cooks or bottle washers. By keeping man hating speakers off campus, a nurturing environment for gentlemen can develop. The former folks can keep their hatreds away, publicizing or hiding them in the Hyde Park of their choice. Besides protecting the decent 99.999 percent of men from malicious abuse, intellectual investigation into the women's movement and women's programs could be done from a variety of perspectives. That would bring a true diversity of thought to campus.

We used to have one of those that I belonged to. It was called the Marine Corps Infantry platoon, but I understand we're trying to change that to be coed also....

Unfortunately the Equal Employment Opportunity Act is going to prohibit eliminating women from campus.

...”The main threat to college students’ physical and emotional safety these days comes not from athletes or fraternity members, but from the feminists.”...

So very true!

Without the evil, rapey, white male the entire world view of the ‘social justice’ crowd falls apart.

The evil, rapey white male and the evil, shooty white cop.

As best I can piece together, the victim is uncomfortable with the truth of the “assault” so she created a new story. So while she still believes she was the victim of sexual unwantedness, the actual story would raise skepticism in almost everyone.
That’s why she created this wacky narrative.

“It does not matter if the story is true”

Remember, the issue is never the issue. The issue always the revolution.

The author of the RS piece expressly admits that she targeted UVA because it “lacked a radical feminist culture.”

IOW, UVA lacked an on-campus revolutionary cadre. So they 1.) needed to be punished and 2.) needed to be incentivized to stand one up. Look at the placards held up by the “protesters” who occupied the fraternity’s front porch. They weren’t about rape or justice ... they were about organization building.

I want to say Harvard, but you may be right. He got tossed from Harvard undergrad for cheating on a Spanish exam. Daddy got him back in.

I regret to confirm that Ted Kennedy did, indeed, graduate from the University of Virginia Law School.

When the Albemarle Co. (VA) courthouse was being renovated several decades ago, someone opened an old desk drawer that had a handful of citations for traffic violations that the sheriff had hidden. Both Bob and Ted Kennedy were notorious party guys when they were in law school at UVA.

Another illustrious alum of the UVA law school is Sheila Jackson Lee (1975). She was born 18 years after Ted so they weren’t there at the same time.

You left out the one where she’s been recently spotted at 3 AM wandering the streets in magic poopy underpants dragging a sack of cheeseburgers behind her.
