So.... they WILLINGLY followed Cosby to the Playboy Mansion. Do you think they knew what the Playboy Mansion was 'all about' ?
there is also quaalude (methaqualone), which started to become available in the US in 1965. In large quantities it can cause nausea, especially when taken with alcohol.
Does BC have a still located in his rectum or something ?
they were minors and by that time cosby had allegedly already served them alcoholic drinks.
here is what you need to know. just three things.
they were minors.
they were minors.
they were minors.
now, for 10 points, what three things do you need to know.
what three things do we need to know about the alleged victims?
I’m not questioning whether they were minors or not.
I am questioning, why where they there ? Why did they follow Cosby there ? Where were their parents in all this ?
One of them would be WHY, after having been allegedly raped, would they return for more of the same, night after night ?
I lived and worked in that general area in that general timeframe. At that time, I was barely aware that the Playboy Mansion existed (if I was aware at all). My only exposure to Playboy at that time was briefly browsing a couple of issues when I was an adolescent kid, several years earlier. However, I was several years older than those minors. At that time, I had no idea sex was occurring in the mansion. I consider myself a fairly normal though somewhat geeky person. But if I missed knowing what went on in the mansion, maybe the girls missed knowing what went on in the mansion in the same way. Why presume that the victims should be aware of such details? If someone had invited me there as a kid, I probably would have gone too. Free beer? free food? good looking chicks? whatever. I’ve been going to bars and drinking beer and wine at bars and restaurants since i was 15. However, I usually ordered it myself. As to the parents, my parents did not know what i was doing for hours at a time when I was growing up. However, nobody came and offered me alcoholic drinks or tried to abuse me. I consider my parents to have been fairly normal if not above average in their treatment of me while I was growing up.
You are asking the same questions over and over again, as if you intend to blame the alleged victims or the victims’ parents. Are you blaming the alleged victims? Or their parents?
Where in the complaint does it state that they returned after being abused?
In any case they are minors and minors are presumed not to have enough judgment to make informed decisions about their own welfare placing the burden of responsibility of caring for their welfare in the hands of accompanying adults, as BC allegedly was at the time of the alleged sexual abuse(s).
So once again, with vigor, what three things do we NEED to know about the alleged victims?
I’ll give you three hints— minor, minor, minor.
Let’s see if you can figure out from the hints what three things we need to know about the alleged victims!
:-)
Agreed. Someone got the girls in. There must have been enablers who assisted Cosby with meeting underage girls.
The Stockholm Syndrome is also difficult to understand, but the fact remains that sometimes people who are abused and even held against their will have a totally irrational emotional response where they temporarily identify with their tormentors.
The operative question is whether Cosby engaged in sexual relations with women against their will, or in other cases forced himself upon women who were drugged and thus unaware or otherwise incapacitated.
Whatever the girls did or did not know about the Playboy Mansion is irrelevant. The same could conceivably be said about innumerable bars, rock concerts, and many social event.
The only question that needs to be answered is whether or not BC sexually assaulted the complainants.
IMHO there are Freepers on this and other threads about the BC scandal who are doing just that. They evince a dismissive and scornful attitude towards the alleged victims while showing sympathy for what they imagine to be a fellow "conservative".
How about some respect for the young women who report being raped?
Correct. By definition a minor is incapable of granting informed consent. The excuse "they should have known better and got what they deserved" betrays a heartless callousness. And yes, any adults present should have protected them from sexual assault.
At least one of the victims stated that she returned to his hotel room for several nights.
They are now up to 27 victims.
Cosby’s MO seems to be get their trust, drug them, and then abuse them.
And visiting people where they are staying, and even consensual sex is actually not illegal (the last time i checked).
But drugging and forced sex under any and every circumstance is wrong. People who don’t agree with that are indulging in blaming the victim IMHO.
