Most post-1992 analysis says that Perot took votes evenly from Clinton and Bush. Where Perot hurt was not in the actual votes but in the attacks he made on Bush . . . but not Clinton, thus making it a “two on one.”
In other news, the sun rose this morning.
Where do they poll and what are the exact questions in the polls?
I didn’t know he took votes from them evenly; I thought it was originally suspected he would take more from Clinton, but in the end took more from Bush.
I guess as the incumbent Bush would be subject to more attacks.
No, the research that I have seen showed it was pretty even.
I guess 50/50 was enough to doom Bush I.
I remember at the time BJ Clinton opened the door to radicals in the highest offices; Obama just seems like a thrigh and fourth term of Clinton.
