That was actually part of the reason that I posted it. Why did National Review have it at the top of the page for the past several days?

Eva, the last sentence is sarcasm.

About 4 paragraphs from the top, the author is mildly offended because Rush - and many people at Free Republic, including me - have been saying that for years.

After Buckley's death, the National Review editor, Rich Lowry, has slowly but surely moved NR to the political center.

I pretty much gave up on NR in 2006 when they refused to vigorously oppose the Bush-McCain immigration Amnesty, which was almost identical to Obama’s Amnesty.

After NR fired John Derbyshire in 2012 for alleged racism, I refuse to read NR at all.

A long time ago, but it’s an idea worth re-exploring.

-Adam Smith?

Adam Smith, the name is familiar. I ‘ll have to see what I find on it.

OK, Wealth of Nations,

The fact is that pure democracy and pure capitalism never exist because man is not pure.

Business and finance are cut throat ways to make a living because people are always looking for short cuts.

My husband retired this year and another company, one he had done business with, actually gave him a retirement party. After the party, the man who gave it, told me that the reason they gave him a party was because he was the most ethical person that they had ever done business with. There aren’t many people like that in any industry.

Williamson has mentioned several times that his sentiments are much more aligned with Rand Paul than other conservatives
