Yep. I let a local kid put up a deer stand on my property and saturday morning he comes by with a big looking doe on the back of his quadrunner. And that night he comes by with a big pot with about 90 lbs of deer meat to give me. I was packing it up Sunday evening and eating what I could.

We had some friends over this weekend, native Russians who have been here about 5 years. They absolutely love the U.S. and are so grateful to be here. They told stories of living under communism and how Putin is definitely wanting to bring back, at least a dictatorial police state if not outright communism. They agreed that Obama is a communist and that Americans (for the most part) just don’t appreciate the freedom that they have.
While I don’t support the public schools and we private schooled and homeschooled my kids, that isn’t an option for a lot of people. We have GOT to take our schools and the Universities where teachers and administrators are trained, back away from the communist/socialist infiltrators.
