The Chinese read the criticism offered by others, and then they pick and choose what they like. There is nothing original.

Political leaders like to regard their foreign counterparts with one premise intact: that the individual will act in the interest of his or her country. It offers a certain baseline for understanding. It is fairly common to run into a foreign leader whose understanding of his or her country’s interest may be mistaken, but it is rather rare to run into one such as 0bama, who disbelieves in his and consistently acts against them.
