Plus he’s said that the GOP should quit talking about abortion and marriage. Paul would make a great running mate for Hillary Clinton. They could run on a “unity ticket”.

YOU (plural) could have fielded and supported any primary candidates you wanted and beaten the RINOs in the primaries. Support for Perry, Newt, Herman Cain, Michelle Bachmann etc were all over the map, no unity.
