Providing nothing to motivate the most reliably Republican voting demographic by far, and then attempting to browbeat them into supporting Republicans anyway come election time is such an odd strategy. Has there been any indication that it works? If not, maybe it’s time to change tactics, rather than attacking your strongest supporters for not being even stronger.
Good god! The old lesser of two evils..prayer?
Unless Jesus Christ Himself was on the ballot, the choices will ALWAYS be a lesser of two evils.
I will vote every time for whichever candidate will cause the least evil to flourish. It is very simple...
“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
- John Adams
This is the same every voting cycle. First come the appeals to logic. Then the appeals to emotion. Then the threats. Then the appeals to faith and patriotism.
The begging should start in earnest over the weekend. That’s my favorite part.
As for the current phase, Christians have zero duty to vote at all, let alone to vote for the party of Nero over the party of Caligula.
Until a candidate is on the ballot who can promise to usher in a perfect reign of justice, plenty, and peace during his first term, I will keep myself pure by refusing to vote at all. As babies are murdered, and Muslims take over, I will be comforted by the thought that all of this is deserved by those who failed to keep themselves pure as I am pure.
Here is the strategy. If you agree with the Republican 52% of the time and the RAT 0% of the time, just sit out the election. Let the 0% guy win it to show how unhappy you are. Of course, there will soon come the time when the Republic is completely destroyed and you will not even have to worry about voting or making a choice. But at least you showed ‘em. Maybe there will be regrets when the Christian persecution reaches its crescendo.

We conservatives, who believe in social and fiscal conservative principles are what percentage of the population? 10%? 15%? 20%? I guess some are afraid to face the fact that politics is the art of the possible. We are never going to get a president who believes everything we believe. There are some, but apparently not many, in the House and Senate, who believe all the things we believe. Why? Because they cannot get a majority of the vote. Not enough people agree with us. Without the majority of the vote, there will be no one to speak for our values.
So what do we do? Vote for the lesser of two evils? Don’t vote for someone who at least holds some of our views? Just sit it out and let the guy win with whom we disagree almost 100%? The last choice may feel good about showing the GOP we mean business, but what has been accomplished? We can feel good about upholding our principles, but the net effect is for the really bad side to further consolidate its power —— with exec orders that cannot be challenged, more judicial appointments in appellate level and in the Supreme Court, totally controlling the FCC and shutting down our point of view on the internet, 60% eating at the taxpayer trough instead of 50%, and 20 million new RAT voters. They will have a permanent majority.
I respect you if you hold to your principles and do not vote. That is a noble position. But be prepared to accept the consequences. Don’t pretend that you do not know those consequences. That is intellectually dishonest and you have lost my respect.
As bad as Romney might have been, he would not have had Holder as AG. Or the influence of Valerie Jarret. Or Benghazi. Or unbelievable exec orders that clearly violate the Constitution. Or any number of other disasters.
