In the UK, this man is seen as what he is: a minor nutcase with a small London following whom the press love for his comments, and therefore whose comments are blown out of all proportion in relation to his actual ‘power’.
In the US, this man is strangely now seen as someone who actually has some great power of Muslims in the UK and who may actually forment a jihad.
In the case of Choudray, the UK has it correct.
Whilst the UK has to keep an eye on this man and act strongly if necessary, including prison, I DO wish Americans would realise that he has nowhere near the following and ‘power’ that you think he does in the UK.
