Norm, I hope you understand that I am in no way trying to minimize the danger to our troops or the seriousness of this outbreak. It is, at least, some comfort to know that none of the family members who lived in the same apartment with Duncan (the American index patient) contracted the virus.
I don’t think it is practical to wear a full ebola suit while building a hospital away from infected patients. I would hope, at least, that there were contingencies in place for a worst case scenario.

It’s been official policy for decades now. Depopulation. Barry’s method is just one way to make it happen.

It isn’t practical. But they will die horribly if they don’t. Where they will be is ground zero. Their chances of infection are massively high. It is murder to send them into that unprotected.

Obozo should visit his troops, without protective gear.

“Read your source again,.....”
“.....adding that the U.S. military hospitals that will admit potentially infected troops have not yet been identified.”
THAT statement means they stay there. If there are no facilities identified for transfer of the Ebola victim as the Ebola mission Commander states, then there is no transfer of that victim. It’s as simple as that. No destination identified they aren’t going to ship a diseased military asset anywhere. He/she stays right there in Liberia, or wherever they are until a facility is identified.
There are four hospitals with eleven beds in the USA that are certified to handle Ebola victims. What about the military? Do you know?

It doesn’t mean they stay there, it just means that they haven’t designated the hospital, or hospitals yet.
As far as 4 hospitals certified for ebola, I know those four special units are for more infectious diseases than Ebola and for researchers and laboratory workers, for example Army lab people and researchers, but is there such a thing as Ebola certification for hospitals?

The entire military just needs to tell obama to fuck himself. I'm not military. But this needs to be said over and over again.
He's a piece of detritus.

They are in daily contact with the people in Liberia.
Great, great post. Therein is the problem. They are in a contamination zone. I've read that only a small percentage of the infected are identified and hospitalized. That means that many in the initial stages of ebola are simply out there in the neighborhood..

Of course this is horrible as they are right in Africa. But what about here? If Ebola does spread, most first responders have gloves, maybe a mask in hand. They go into a persons home and sometimes pick them up while they lay in their own feces and vomit. NY state first responders, or the ones I know, have been given no extra information on screening for Ebola, not that they're stupid but it's likes no one cares. A group of firefighters I know sat down for morning coffee and said hmm... We have a couple of Haz mat suites yet we're told it's almost impossible to catch but the doctor's transporting patients on TV are wearing respirators... But not airborne? My husband the ff worries about bringing the flu or worse home after every shift.

The 101st will supply 700 soldiers to what will be 3 to 4 thousand, they are half of the first 1400, (the other 700 being mostly engineers). Are we invading Africa?
