So you see the outrage on Twitter, so that makes it true? Do you not realize how the left utilizes all kinds of social medias in order to try to influence public opinion? It's one reason we got 0bama twice because the left figured out how to use the social medias effectively to push their agenda or silence the debate.
I'm on old vet of all kinds of social medias. I've actually lurked here since around 1998 because this is a great resource for news gathering and conservative opinion. I'll give you a great example of how the left stifled debate during both of 0bama's presidential runs and that many here I'm sure encountered, was the use of the race card. It didn't matter how great of points you made in a comment section or message board, etc, if the leftist did not want to confront the issue, they would just accuse the poster of being racist. I saw this time and time again on many different social medias. It was almost like a coordinated effort and as a result, we ended up with 2 terms of this loser. You have to admit, it was very effective but also evil as it deceptively undermined our political process.
I'm a great observer of posting patterns from observing many different kinds of social medias. I've noticed that many use the same posting tactics and talking points. It's not hard to spot what is going on when you learn to observe these things.
That all being said, my main point is what is happening on social medias can not always be trusted as the left has learned how to use it politically to try to influence public opinion and they can never be trusted. They will pull out all kinds of deception in order to hold on to power. I hope in your case, it was just a matter of falling for their tactics.

Who in their right mind would say we can afford to give up seats? We can't afford to lose any seats with the mess going on in Washington and this country. Are you crazy?
Thad Cochran does deserve to lose because of his underhanded tactics but Pat Roberts did no such thing. He is a solid conservative vote, despite all his flaws. The alternative is much, much worse. Hopefully McDaniel makes some strides in his case over Cochran so we don't lose that seat. I don't know why you continue to go down this path of losing seats when that could be devastating to this country.

but now its time to vote against the rats.
That means voting for Roberts - holding my nose.
Exactly, if we would have had a much better candidate in the primaries, I would been for a change. As it turned out, Roberts is still the best conservative in this race, despite having to hold our noses. Orman would be a disaster for this state and our country.

O.K. CG, once again, your point is well-taken. But, I remember the Bush years when the GOP had the White House, The Senate and The House...... nothing changed. As a matter of fact, it was a horrible mess. But, thanks for your comments and I say again: Your point is well-taken.
So you see the outrage on Twitter, so that makes it true?

First of all, it IS true. The documents are public record. But, True or False, that was not the point of discussion. I was asked: “Seriously? Who Cares?” My response merely indicated that apparently a lot of people do. AND.... We Conservatives have our fair share of folks on Twitter: Sarah Palin, Ted Cruz, Hannity, O’Reilly, and on and on and on. It is not a social media utilized only by the left. Now, you said:.................
“It didn’t matter how great of points you made in a comment section or message board, etc, if the leftist did not want to confront the issue, they would just accuse the poster of being racist. I saw this time and time again.....” Well, sir, I might say I’ve seen it time and time again also right here on Free Republic. No matter how valid a point you make, if people don’t agree with it, and cannot intelligently counter your comment, they don’t call you a racist, they call you a troll.
About Pat Robert's residency, you might want to read this from the KC Star: http://www.kansascity.com/news/local/news-columns-blogs/local-columnists/article404814/Sen.-Pat-Roberts%E2%80%99-residency-in-Kansas-is-a-valid-question.html
Even though they question his residency, they still come to the conclusion, as well as an Objections Board, that he does have residency in Kansas. The Star also claims Roberts votes and pays taxes in Kansas furthering his Kansas residency. It may be on a technicality but they found he is a resident. They also point out, and this if very important to understand, many Washington DC politicians buy homes in the DC area so this nothing really new.
Am I disappointed he doesn't spend more time in Kansas? Of course but it's not the most important issue in this race. Not by a long shot. That's why I don't buy in to the faux outrage over his residency you are presenting here or the faux outrage elsewhere.
