Read NOTHING into this. Holder obviously has a big paying gig to go to and can do more for the liberal cause there. He isn’t stepping down because of any pressure.

“We can deal with his crimes later.”

Who will? The eGOP? They didn’t take care of Clintoons crimes. They won’t be taking care of Obama’s either. They claimed “We need to move forward.” Typical Dr. Spock cowardice.

Mathematically correct. However, the press is going to allow Holder leaving to suspend everything.

All prosecution before the AG is political in nature. It has nothing to do with rule of law.

But will a presidential pardon make him lawsuit-proof?

You're right. He can still be sued. The Government will pay for it.

My biggest fear is that Ginsberg will abruptly retire and Obama will nominate Holder to replace her and Harry Reid will nuke him onto the bench.

I don't exactly agree that this is a sign, since Holder will be staying until his successor is confirmed. But it's interesting nonetheless.

Could just be that he's tired of the job and wants to start pulling down those private sector dollars on top of his federal pension. Kinda like Eric Cantor, who lost little time finding a plush new job on Wall Street after losing his primary.

Time will tell.

Either way, it won’t make any difference if the GOP wins or loses either house.

I mean outside of the passing Amnesty and Obama signing it that is.
