Remember: Real Estate means “Royal Land” not that it is “real” in any sense.

Nothing more than another form of taxation. What else?

And presumably, if you record something that they don’t like, they can then retroactively revoke your permit and seize your recording as illegal, thus suppressing whatever it was you recorded.

This reminds me of the scene where Edward G. Robinson is watching a movie of nature scenes, presumably before they disappeared, prior to being euthanized and turned into Soylent Green.

Another self-righteous gummint agency that needs to be defunded.
Oh... And take back all of our ammo first.

All American taxpayers should demand their cut of these fees. The government “giving back” if you will.

On I270 in MD, just prior to Frederick, there is a scenic overlook that has a sign pointing it out with the Message
“Scenic Overlook....Closed at Dusk”
My response when driving by ‘always’ is
“Does God know that HIS view is closed at dusk”?
That sign has been there at least 15 years....(or longer)

All the Game of the Forest belong to the King.
Your are all now peasants subject to the omnipotent will of your betters.
Apparently in Amerika that also now extends to taking pictures as well.
