I desperately want Obama to take a vacation without the press too. That vacation is scheduled to start on January 20, 2017, but I would be thrilled beyond words to see it start early.

My husband is a 63 year old diabetic who is currently nursing a bad back injury - he had steroid injections in it and is better, but is still hobbling around in pain. He is a chemical engineer at Dow chemical Freeport Tx. He drives to Sugar Land Texas every day, about an hour drive each way. He works 14 hours a day. When his back was first injured and the pain was unbearable, he worked from home about 20 hours a day.
He is currently part of a group designing a new ethylene plant that will cost Dow several BILLION dollars. He pours over the drawing all day and all night, making sure there are no errors. We had to live in Claremont Ca 2012-2013 leaving our own home unattended/vacant for a year. That in itself is stressful and it was our 5th temp Dow Chemical relocation.
The only vacation we have had in the last few years, we drove up the coast from Claremont to Carmel Calif - we were living in Claremont. He hasn’t had TIME to play golf in years!!!!!!!!!!!!!
