The only reason Zimmerman used his gun was that Trayvon saw it and tried to grab it. If he had not used it, Trayvon would have killed him with it.
And no one outside of Sanford would have ever heard of the incident.

Despite the outrage and demands for justice after Zimmerman was acquitted of manslaughter, Attorney General Eric Holder has yet to announce a clear answer on his findings in the shooting of the unarmed 17-year-old who quickly became a household name across America. Maybe that's because it all came out at trial.

Holder's constituency (blacks and left-wing whites) still believe the original media lies and ignored any evidence to the contrary that came out at the trial.
Holder could bring charges even if he knows he would lose in court, to please his base and to make life miserable for George Zimmerman for a year or two.

Notice that none of the ‘writers of color’ ever seem to mention that Martin could have simply continued walking straight to the house he was living in instead of doubling back and confronting Zimmerman, and he would still be alive.
