"What were people out shopping, with no weapons on them, supposed to do?. Come on Rambos, tell me?."

I think I see your problem.

My hubby has an extended concealed carry permit (he can carry anywhere except past the TSA checkpoint at the airport and a courtroom in session). He carries everywhere he goes when he leaves the house. Not a .45 though, just a .40

He did score 99/100 on his permit test. Not bad considering time at the rage is a very expensive hobby these days.

We live in snake country so he usually carries in the yard too.

This is also a Castle Doctrine state. And aside from the gang banger contingent who aren't in a rush to get those official permits, we manage not to have total bloodbaths every week.

“Give it a f*cking rest.”

Wow. That’s about the most forceful thing that has come out of that nancyboy village in years.

“Come on Rambos, tell me?”

First, we “Rambos” are armed when out shopping, unlike those in the UK where such firearms and the carrying of them is more illegal than spitting on the Queen.

Second, streets have all kinds of weapons about them. Pick one and kill the SOB.

If you weren’t such a UK nancyboy you’d know this.

I hope the situation in Britain continues to improve, but the jury is definitely still out.

“not a poofy pom.”

Fooled us, then. Anyone claiming those with guns are just “Rambos” is a liberal poofer.

Rambo refers to people spouting macho BS, not people with guns. I am a gun owner myself.

As for liberal, I am a lifelong conservative, and ex-military.

Guns aren’t illegal in the UK, if you weren’t such an ignorant clown, you’d know this.

“Yes, we all know y’all would have done killed them Moozlims with your 45’s.”

Most likely around here that’s exactly what would have happened. Dan you share with me how many .45 semi auto pistols are carried by private citizens in Britain?

I’ll wager that in less than a decade you’ll be begging for American guns just like you did twice last century.

“You were paid to do it, you didn’t offer out of the goodness of your heart.”

Bullshit. American gun owners sent thousands or rifles, shotguns, and binoculars to England as donations. You are appallingly ignorant on this subject.

Fine. Let us know how many privately owned AR pattern rifles you get from Canada. My guess is the number will be somewhere around 5. Six if you’re lucky.

BOMBAY style terrorist attack. I don’t abide by the renaming conventions that are so PC these days.

Nothing to do with PC. Many place names have been retrograded from British-influence and Portuguese-influence (Bombay, probably) to historical Indian names (Hindu goddess Mumbadevi).

How an article on a possible terrorist attack on London degenerated into a mud slinging contest is beyond me, but here are a few facts on rifles.

In World War I, the standard British rifle was the Lee Enfield SMLE in .303 caliber. The British had designed a new rifle called the Lee Enfield Pattern 14, but rather than slow production in home factories, decided to produce the new weapon in factories in Canada and the U.S. and did so by contract. When the United States entered the war three years after the British, we needed more rifles and decided to use the U.S. Enfield production lines instead of retooling for the M1903 Springfield. The U.S. rifle was chambered for .30 06 and typed as the M1917 Enfield. By war’s end, 75% of American troops were equipped with this British designed rifle.

When WWII started, the U.S. was once again on the sidelines at first, but had considerable stocks of M1917 Enfield and still had a limited production capability. This rifle was issued to some U.S. troops and a number were supplied via Lend Lease to the Home Guard. When the war was over, most of these rifles were scrapped as they were obsolete.

As the scotsman points out, France and Britain provided the AEF with all of their combat aircraft, most of their field artillery, tanks, and many machine guns as we were not producing these weapons in quantity.

I’m pretty sure that during World War I and II, we were fighting the Germans, not the Brits and the Brits have been fighting by our sides in Korea, the First Gulf War, Iraq, Afghanistan, and elsewhere. My kinfolk from Tennessee did give them a bit of a licking at New Orleans in 1815.

Waking up does not solve the problem — get rid of ALL your muzzies.

Has it not been shown enough that muzzies will NEVER integrate into Western society?

>Presumably with one hand.<

.
No the modern way to fire a handgun is using both hands, using the Weaver stance.

And we don’t carry .45LC concealed, but .45ACP.

The UK allows in hundreds of thousands from Ustinkistan, and now they fear terrorism?

Sounds like the U.S. plan...
