Typical apologist bullcrap. "No surprise Russia's acting as it is." It's the universal excuse . . . for everything.

Something happened? "No surprise Russia's acting as it is."
Something failed to happen? "No surprise Russia's acting as it is."

Oh snap! Those witty zingers of yours make me blush.

Yes I’m Russian, and I’m hiding under your bed with a stinkbomb.

Boo!

No, they don’t want the good old days. They’re cheering because they know, with only 130 mil souls, no GNP, it can’t happen, and a strong military is the only thing that will keep others from destroying them with missiles and troops on their borders.

I didn’t say you were Russian, just that you mindlessly parrot Soviet talking points. Personally, my money is on Paultard, or Buchanan anit-Semite.

Well....didn’t you then expect that after all? No different then the blame Russia button....it’s all Geo-political. Nothing to do with Ukraine’s people.

Will you really be surprised if Russia takes more of Ukraine? Russia’s doing what it does because it can at this point...the only thing are words attempting to stop them....and those are a dime a dozen.

Same as with these threads....they go on as they do because people like to take sides, regardless if our business or not.

This is ALL ABOUT THE EURO AND NOTHING ELSE. Follow the money folks.....

It’s no secret the Euro is collapsing in Greece, Spain and Italy. So then why would Ukraine want to joint the E.U. if the Euro is collapsing???

This is while, AT THE VERY SAME TIME, while the E.U. is collapsing the Russian economy with their extremely low flat tax economy is booming.

http://www.propublica.org/article/flat-taxes-are-big-in-the-former-ussr.-have-they-worked

The E.U has to have Ukraine in the E.U. or the European Union will collapse.

Shortly after Ukraine lawfully elected a president that was Pro Russia (because of their booming economy) and Anti E.U. (because of the collapsing Euro) was overthrown. That would be the equivalent of overthrowing a new U.S. President shortly past the election (90 days I believe is the time). Furthermore, then the E.U., along with the media and the Administration has the audacity to say the Coup in Ukraine , 90 days after a National election, was legit and what the voters wanted. Oh yeah real legit....(sarcasm off).

The E.U. is desperate to preserve the Globalist E.U. If it collapses, then this will certainly set back the Globalist agenda of world domination.

Just to understand the E.U. model. Their Globalist ideal model is Socialism/Communism for the middle to lower class and Fascism to Crony Capitalism at the very top. That is the Globalist current model, and this is why it’s failing. It works against the nature law of supply and demand. So when all fails.... they take you to war.

I’ll give credit to the E.U. for convincing a lot of people in the west that Russia is your Daddy’s Soviet Union. Russia today has lower taxes than most countries including the E.U. and the United States. Russia is also pro population growth vs. the West which is anti-population growth.

It is almost if the roles economically and some social aspects have reversed. However, the Globalist in the west have summary westerns convinced this is the old Soviet Union.

You have it all figured out. Those tanks rolling across the border? Nothing important.

“Well....didn’t you then expect that after all? No different then the blame Russia button....it’s all Geo-political. Nothing to do with Ukraine’s people.”

That’s the thing: they had a coup, then immediately played the victimhood card when their own ethnic Russian citizens fought back. Then they go whining to NATO and the EU / US for help when their “duly elected president” can’t hold their new government together.

I have no sympathy for either side, but the Ukrainians are coming across as whining, paranoid, self-obsessesed victims who are dependent on outside help to correct a situation they created themselves.

It isn’t pretty, it isn’t funny, and the US should stay out of it and let the offended parties work it out between themselves.

....”the Globalist in the west have summary westerns convinced this is the old Soviet Union”.....

And until they see Russia/Putin as it is they will continue to falter in understanding Russia's moves. Putin's having a hay day because he knows where their thinking is at so he can navigate as he's doing without much hindrance more than threats and counter threats...meanwhile he does move along. Obama can't get a handle on this because there's so much division among the political and military leaders....one side sees from the old USSR perspective, the other sees Russia as it it is today.....and the two battle it out just as we've seen on these threads.

Meanwhile Putin moves steadily along on the international stage doing his thing...while Bo goes golfing.... However, watch the ME when it comes to Russia now....if push comes to shove there will be more than fireworks.

Are you concerned about the invasion coming across our S. Border? Play the “victimhood” card about it very often?

...the other sees Russia as it it is today....

Noble enough to send its tanks across the border to defend the flat tax?

Excellent summary Enlightened1!

And lest we forget, the EU is desperate to bring Ukraine into their fold for economic reasons, whereas Russia (under the USSR) practically built the entire Ukrainian infrastructure that the EU plans to benefit from.

It’s no wonder they resent Ukraine’s plan to give all of that away to NATO — including military bases, space launch facilities, and oil/gas refineries.

Ukraine can't do any more than be a victim and cry out for help....they didn't count the cost before hand, they never do....heck Yats went out early he got so frustrated.

It's been understood by Oligarchs Ukraine is all about being in “revolution” mode.....and still today they have people continuing to line the streets for one thing or another.

If I were to take any side it would be those in East Ukraine who wanted to break from Kiev and be as a state within Ukraine.....Even Poroshenko was willing to hear them out as he canidated for Pres..... But of course Ukraine's politics are under the Oligarchs once again so it's going to continue to be a slug fest there....and there's nothing much left there in the East to be unified now regardless if it becomes Nova-Russia or Fully Ukraine. Most of the Russians have moved out and Poroshenko's already given housing to any in the West who want to move there.

What’s a few tanks? If the Ukrainians are so tough, they should just fight back. Or are they so committed to victimhood that they need NATO to back up their tough talk?

Have you noted the US is not so supportive now of Ukraine? What the EU will do now has yet to be seen, they may bail in the long run, but in such a way as to come out smelling like a rose.

Agreed — the EU tried to drag us in like the world police to solve a regional problem between two countries with a very long history of dispute. I think we’re starting to see through that kind of foreign policy manipulation.

The EU acts like they have all the brains and NATO is their brawn, but they can’t face Russia without America to back them up. So without our support they’re going to have to back down from trying to absorb Ukraine.

And maybe we Americans are finally waking up and realizing we don’t have a dog in these other countries’ fights. We have no business taking sides in pointless squabbles that started hundreds of years before the US even existed. Let the enlightened Europeans work it out among themselves.
