I guess it’ll last until the next time it starts getting warm.

Since our planet is FIVE BILLION YEARS OLD, I doubt whether (no pun intended) ANYONE can predict the future weather with anything representing ANY kind of accuracy.

The latest theory says that a naturally occurring 30-year cycle in the Atlantic Ocean how convenient to set themselves a 30 year target - to 'get ready' for the end of the cycle

Yeah, and if you believe the science fiction we’ll all be dead by then so, so what? Melt them icecaps already, baby, and let’s prove them right.

Scientists have struggled to explain the so-called pause that began in 1999, despite ever increasing levels of CO2 in the atmosphere. I am sure that this 'struggle' is nothing that can't be cured with a fresh infusion of billions of dollars of taxpayer money to continue the research.

The hiatus in the rise in global temperatures could last for another 10 years, Whew, thank goodness! We have 10 more whole years to raise money to prevent the Burning End of the World!!!

Gee! Just like Freepers predicted.
Just as computer models and the “consensus” predicted would NOT happen!

Since there is no Science of the Climate (yet, if ever), it's best to make predictions for events beyond the end of one's active career as a "researcher".
That way one can't be nailed for being so wrong.

However, they caution that global temperatures are likely to increase rapidly when the cycle flips to a warmer phase.Duh!

"The latest theory says that a naturally occurring 30-year cycle in the Atlantic Ocean is behind the slowdown.
The researchers says this slow-moving current could continue to divert heat into the deep seas for another decade."
So the globe isn't warming.
To: BenLurkin
And if this “theory” doesn’t fly, we’ve got another 10 untested and unscientific “theories” ready to go.
