Going back several cycles to see the voting history of the district, I see multiple Vietnamese against Vietnamese candidates, with the Democrat winning each time. Our last primary had 2 Vietnamese Republican candidates, the winner to run against the incumbent Vietnamese Democrat. The Republican primary winner was the least conservative. In my area, statistics show the asian voters voting like true minorities - liberal democrat (and trending more so with each race) - choosing the most liberal candidate similar to how blacks strangely reject black Republican candidates. I don't know how you overcome this mentality, even with pandering.
Yes, absolutely.
How can the GOP *not* see that?
“You’re as welcome with us as anyone else. Come on in and we’ll talk.”
That should be the extent of the “outreach”. Buy time on black oriented radio stations and print publications, stressing that the RATs have not been any help.
