They got more layers of gloves under the gloves. No way they’re ever going bare knuckle on the lib-dems. They’re joined at the hips.

Just about no one under 35 has ever seen a copper nail. The old hardware stores used to carry them, and we used to buy 100lb wood kegs.

Know what I hate?

When people use ground turkey in Chili as a substitute for beef.

Go to a hardware store that specializes in roofing.

It is getting harder to find.

$6.19/lb out here this morning, while I was food shopping. I still have 50 1lb packages (heavily wrapped) in the freezer, bought at $1.49/lb, from years ago. Thawing out a pound now, for BLTs later this week.

"Turkey bacon"? That's like saying "tofu steaks". I like turkey, but it's not bacon.

Pure hardware stores are getting even harder to find, too.

BTW... you know how to make an electric pickle?

Strip a lamp cord , wrap one bit around a copper nail. the other bit in a galvanized nail.

Shove one into each end and plug it in...
