Why are you SO afraid of the ultrasound and hearing about the development of the zygote inside you? I thought leftists were big on science. What could it hurt to be fully informed? Unless you're trying to fool yourself into thinking it's no big deal. And why is it good that Wendy Davis fought against clinic safety? You want women to get infections or bleed to death? You take this "personal, private decision" and blast it over Salon and bring it up to relative strangers at a picnic? What you want is validation. But that still won't make it RIGHT.

You say you don't want a baby now. That you're not ready. I would challenge you with this: what if this is your ONLY chance to have a child? What if the procedure damages your body or you otherwise become infertile? What will you think of it then?
