Some posts just make me want to shake my head. THAT is what you took out of the whole Anne Frank story? Her greedy plans to benefit from being locked in a room for a few years?
I’ve read her diary a couple of times, but no more. It’s too sad, knowing how it all ended.
Seriously? She would probably have been penniless after the war. Why shouldn't she have tried to earn some money?
Visited there last year, very moving experience.
It exemplifies the saying that the death of one is a tragedy, the deaths of millions is a statistic.
Anne Frank personalized the Holocaust in a way no one else could. The Holocaust was six million individual tragedies.
