What I never could understand is why the Jews in America support the Democrats. I have been amazed for decades.
I remember that Tony Villar got diss for that
“No home for Israel inside the Democratic Party”
Please, don’t worry Bibi, your complimentary Amerikan missiles will be there in time before the end of the cease-fire.
It’s all part of the liberal self-loathing death wish.
“As such, Israel has no home in today’s Democratic Party.”
Israel is a country and as such does not belong to any party. But Jews are people and they do. Having worked for an Israeli company and counting many as friends or at least good acquaintances I can state I have never met a dual citizen who was a Republican. None who were not citizens, but guest workers, supported any traditional Republican ideals. (I inserted “traditional” because of the likes of John McCain, Marco Rubio and others who fly under false colors and do not represent any (or many) conservative ideals.)
Over at DU, they are anti Israel and anti semetic. It’s so bad I couldn’t imagine a liberal Jew gracing that forum.
The country club theory
Some writer, maybe `The Kennedys’, suggested that old Joe Kennedy went Democrat because his family was excluded from WASP country clubs.
So it might be the same thing soon for Jews tired of seeing Israel castigated by the Democrats. As far as that goes, we’re seeing many of us put off by GOP country club types.
We could be looking in 2016 at a new party made up of Americans fed up with both parties, and that includes young people working 2-3 jobs, no health insurance but paying a penalty, and put off by Obama, Pelosi, Reid & Company’s, and Boehner, McCain and McConnell’s & Company’s respective high-flown boolshite.
The Democrat hat trick
The Democrats have turned against God, the Democrats have turned against Israel and the Democrats have turned against the Jews
The Left hates Israel because Leftists hate God.
Which came first, Hamas or the Democrats?
The Dems BOOED Israel during their 2012 election..it was so blatant that even Villaraigosa was shocked..he had to repeat it THREE TIMES and they still booed Israel..yet here you have American Jews OVERWHELMINGLY voting Democrat after seeing that display
This might help:

Really great point to remember. That was disgraceful and they’re never called on that behavior.
In addition, it never ceases to amaze me that so many Jews vote Democrat. I do however believe (hope) it is more from secular Jews.

++++
Me too. I invite rational explanations.
Because, and I know this for a fact because I live here in LA and know people like this..American Jews really don’t give a rats behind about Israel..Israel is a country far far away and they have no connection to it. I think many of them realize the horrible mistake they made by voting for this schmuck but the majority of them still adore Obama and as long as they are getting what they want here, they don’t care about what happens over there
Agreed!
Orthodox Jews largely vote for Republicans. A few in New York and perhaps Chicago got bought off, but they will pay for it in November.
Conservative Jews are split but there is a major shift towards conservatism underway as old traditions are being undermined by the Marxist Democrats (and black anti-semitism is rising even in Congress).
Reform Jews. Once they were called Atheists. There are a few honorable ones but they keep their mouths shut for fear of being called McCarthyites and baby-killers.
This Jew: I left the Democrat Party in 1968 when they sold us out in Vietnam. Never came back and never will. To do so would be to betray my friends who died in Nam and Cambodia.
This I will never do.
