I think the GOPe knows the economic collapse is coming rather abruptly. So they’ll put up a weak candidate, like Jeb Bush who will garner all the dislike for Bushes. Or maybe the establishment establishment will let Rand Paul win so when the bigger collapse comes, it will be blamed on "free-market libertarian capitalism."

They polled Cruz. He was tied for sixth for the nomination with Perry & Rubio at 7%.
Cruz polled 37% to 50% for Hillary.
