You never answered Balding_Eagle’s question:
Of what use is a locked up gun?
Thanks, Red, I got busy and missed the non-answer.
I’m looking forward to learning something new.
Locked up guns don’t get stolen as easily, and used in crimes. Were you at home when it was stolen? If so, what use was it unlocked? Good thing no one walked in on him stealing it, you or a family member could have been shot.
So you tell me, what use was the gun to you unlocked? If it had been locked in a safe while you were gone, you would most likely still have it. It certainly didn’t stop you from getting burglarized. So it wasn’t on you, or in your vehicle. Or were you home, but you couldn’t get to it?
I would think a small claims filing might work.
If that fails, sue and include the lawyers fees to be reimbursed.
