Half a million that’s all? Scarcely a scrap of that huge contract. (Got to put it in some sort of context.)
The mega-FEMA business has no choice BUT to get huge swaths of “private business” caught up in its sights. It’s the piece of gummit we never officially see.
Thanks for the info. I have been really frustrated at the lack of info on this group that seems shady as all get out
The bigger concern I would have is that being FEMA based probably takes all the evangelical opportunity out of it. Preach gospel to these kids and the dough would evaporate. This might be a United Way kind of thing... but Baptist?
What might have started out in the light got dragged into dim regions big time by the Forces of Darkness.
Beck is a jerk and wannabe cult leader. The sooner he blows away the better.
BCFS are money grubbing scum as are USCB. Cloaked in “charity” they endorse theft.
Theft is what illegals do. They steal from those who followed our immigration laws. They steal from Americans. Then they have the audacity to demand social services, citizenship, they protest in our streets for “rights”, and disrupt our governmental proceedings.
Illegal aliens deserve deportation with EXTREME prejudice.
Baptist ping
They aren’t private ventures here... they are funnels of huge amounts of OPM.
Illegal aliens deserve deportation with EXTREME prejudice.
WTH is Perry? WTH is Brewer? They have the law on their side, the Feds do not. Yet they sit there on their ass. WTH is their problem!
Defend the US!
You’re with us or against us. Do your job Perry & Brewer. History will judge you. You can shine, or be a Benedict Arnold. Your choice.
Rotsa ruck doing that... the camel is all the way into the tent now and is telling the Arab how to feed him.
We must all push together.
Interesting Article on Southwest Key..Acorn for La Raza. They are getting some of the Government pie, too.
In 2012 they pulled in $67,325,953.00 and $63,321,669 of taxpayer funds through DHS and HHS grants/contracts. Thats around 94% of their entire operational charity revenue from taxpayers.
A new class of cronies is discovered.
My wife pointed out that for years Perry has been bragging about how well Texas is doing. It’s hard to believe he doesn’t know that Texas will be the first to go down if he doesn’t stand up and do the job he was elected to do.
As for the Baptists, I’ll never set foot in another Baptist Church. (Or any other church) I know ALL Baptists aren’t involved but I haven’t heard any of the mega Baptist preachers condemning it either. I’ve been to several large Baptist Churches over the past few years. All of them with the SBC. Everyone of them had a huge room with Hispanics where the sermon was being interpreted. And I mean a huge room! I have to wonder if the American taxpayer didn’t build the facilities.
Over the years I’ve heard various theories about the anti Christ. I’m beginning to wonder if it’s not organized religion.
“Our programs encourage the development of personal and academic skills while facilitating permanency for these refugees.” http://www.swkey.org/programs/shelters/
“Facilitating permanency” means violation of law. Southwest Key is advocates violation of law, shut them down.
If I had known this was going to happen I would have created a “faith based” charity. But in order to know I would have needed connections.
Pingers.
I think the problem is anyone can call themselves “Baptists.” For example, the “Westboro Baptist Church.” The question is whether this is a legitimate Christian organization, or has just highjacked the identity.
It needs to be pointed out that BCFS dropped the word Baptist from their name some time ago. A search of their web site for that word turned up zero. Apparently they no longer consider themselves a Christan organization.
